Grow Batheaston celebrate the completion of several areas of wildflower meadow on the Elmhurst estate.
This project was made possible by a grant from Your Park which enables us to buy the seed and plug plants and work with volunteers to scarify the areas by hand and then sow and trample in the seed mix.

The core team at Grow Batheaston are beyond excited to finally be able to start work on a new venture in the village; this is the creation of a ‘Forest Garden’, situated behind the established and much appreciated Secret Garden next to the river and car park in Batheaston.

30 Oak saplings planted by the children from Oak class - Batheaston Church School
Local Primary school pupils from Oak class got the chance to each plant their very own oak sapling on Bathampton meadows near to New Leaf Farm.
Madison's Giant Sunflower Competition
Madison from Batheaston Church School is fundraising for the school by selling off the seeds she harvested from last years whopper for £1 a bag. Come along to the Grow Batheaston Seedling sale in the riverside car park on Saturday 1st May between 11am - 1pm pick up a bag and join in the fun.
