Tales from our River Bank

Talks, films, information sharing and art when we will hear from wildlife film makers, educationalists, conservationists and artists as we discover what we can do now to improve the health and biodiversity of the River Avon.

The evening will highlight the necessity of allowing ALL species to thrive, even the ones invisible to the naked eye. By focusing on the health of the river, we wil explore how we can nurture it and allow it to thrive as a home and habitat for many different forms of life. Do we need to change the way we co-exist with river, and the natural world? Is it time for the river to have rights of its own? The evening will finish with a showing of the film 'Balancing the Scales' made by the Beaver Trust, narrated by Joanna Lumley.
