We are delighted to announce that we have once again been chosen as a Co-op community cause https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/60199.

We are planning to hold a public meeting via Zoom on 18th November at 7.15pm where we will be able to present our current ideas regarding the community store and proposals and receive feedback from residents.

Exciting news, we have a new children's group in Batheaston starting on September the 8th.

A community open day at the Batheaston Football Pitch will be held on Saturday 26th June, 11am - 1pm, to showcase the forthcoming sessions with some refreshments provided at the Rhymes Pavilion.

Grow Batheaston is about to apply for charity status. and we’re looking for Trustees to join the team.

Fleur Demeranville Dash from Love my Mind would love to introduce herself to the Grow Batheaston community. She is a Solution focused hypnotherapist, and is going to send out lots of (hopefully) helpful information, hints and tips for May's Mind's Matter Month.

As I gaze across the meadows, flooded yet again this year by a barrage of water, beautiful yet at the same time unnerving, I wonder if I am looking at the realities of climate change. It is well known that climate change means a wetter world, warm air holds more moisture and yet the disruption of individual weather systems is still hard to pin down to global warming.
