Riverside Tree Trail
A circular walk between Batheaston riverside car park and the toll bridge, visiting interesting trees on the way
This informal walk, mainly on trail paths, is approximately 2km and includes a kissing gate and cattle grid but no steps. It is designed to start and finish in Batheaston Public Car Park by the river but can be accessed from various points along the route if preferred.
The trail aims to help you recognise and appreciate the local trees and their importance in everyday life. The tree symbol used in the notes on the trees is a guide to maximum tree size, representing 10 meters in height.
