Introducing Solsbury Community Choir!

Solsbury Community Choir is a new, friendly mixed choir that welcomes all singing abilities, with an emphasis on singing for fun.

Come along to Batheaston’s new village hall for an evening yoga class and some relaxing herbal tea. Thursday 3rd March 2022 Yoga from 6:30 - 7:30 pm with herbal tea after class.

New Forest Garden to be created in the Secret Garden in Batheaston

The core team at Grow Batheaston are beyond excited to finally be able to start work on a new venture in the village; this is the creation of a ‘Forest Garden’, situated behind the established and much appreciated Secret Garden next to the river and car park in Batheaston.

No matter how carefully we budget, those sharp hikes in our energy bills will come on top of the other cost-of-living increases that are swirling around us now. But there is help available.

In January 2021 Grow Batheaston received a £5000 grant from the Bath & West Community Energy (BWCE) Fund for the Grow Batheaston Store.

We are planning to hold a public meeting via Zoom on 18th November at 7.15pm where we will be able to present our current ideas regarding the community store and proposals and receive feedback from residents.

A community open day at the Batheaston Football Pitch will be held on Saturday 26th June, 11am - 1pm, to showcase the forthcoming sessions with some refreshments provided at the Rhymes Pavilion.

Grow Batheaston is about to apply for charity status. and we’re looking for Trustees to join the team.
