The 2024 Batheaston Art Trail will be held over the weekend of the 28th and 29th September and runs from 11.30am - 5.30pm each day. Last year there were 40 artists exhibiting across 15 venues in the village who will be showing a variety of mediums including Fine Art, Prints, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Textiles, Jewellery and Ceramics. There will also be refreshments available in the church. We are currently starting to gather interest for the 2024 Art Trail so keep an eye on this page for further info nearer the time. Rob is an elected member of the Bath Society of Artists and has exhibited artwork, nationally and internationally. Primarily a printmaker (linocuts, woodcuts), although more recently involved in painting (acrylic on canvas). He has also illustrated several books. The studio is in the back of the garden where there are quite a few steps leading up to the studio. This may not be accessible to wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.

There is an alternative entrance (with less steps and closer to the studio) via a gate at the end of the back garden next to the studio. This can be accessed via a footpath that runs at the back of the garden with an entrance via Morris Lane or West View Road.

This back entrance was used last year by quite a few people as an exit onto other studio`s off Morris Lane.

Steve is a full time painter and art teacher who grew up in Batheaston and is a member of the Rich family of market gardeners in the village.Steve paints in watercolour, acrylic and pastel. Her studio, from which she also teaches silk screen printing and painting on fabric, is in the garden.

Gary Wood sadly died in 2023 but his studio in the garden can be visited weather permitting.
